About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role provides strategic and organisational leadership, vision and direction across a number of Directorate and Federated arrangements with particular focus on the planning and commissioning of services for health and social care. The role leads a Federation, where People, Children’s Services and Public Health collaborate to encourage the best use of resources, avoid duplication and silo working, creating centres of excellence and co design solutions which focus on national, regional and local objectives in a joined up way across services.
The role also holds the statutory responsibility of the Director of Adult Services (DASS)
